Excelsior Tree Lighting
Saturday, Dec. 1 at 5:15. Make time to attend the Town Tree Lighting at the TCF tree (Water & Oak). You’ll
be treated to candy canes and the inimitable a cappella voices of none other than the Yale University Whiffenpoofs.
Not kidding. It just happens that the country’s oldest college a cappella choir is in town for a performance at Mount
Calvary Lutheran Church at 7 PM on Saturday. Laura Hotvet, exec. director of the chamber and an active member of
Mount Calvary, secured the group’s promise to sing a few for the tree-lighting ceremony. Free.
Grab your kids, park your car and walk to TCF Bank (outside) for a lovely holiday experience.
Don’t forget to support Excelsior local shops!
